NCCRF employs a two-step grant process, designed to optimize the time of potential grantees:

Step 1:

Potential grantees should submit a 2-3 page summary of the proposal they would send, if invited. We will provide feedback and either invite a full proposal, ask for clarification, or decline further consideration. The summary may be sent at any time.

Please include the following in your 2-3 page initial proposal:

  • Evidence supporting your hypothesis.
  • How you will measure success and what data will you use?
  • How you will share what you learn or produce with the cancer community?
  • Bios of lead personnel.

Step 2:

If invited, you will submit a full proposal. Full application requirements will be sent to each invited proposer.  Applications will be reviewed three times per year – in May, September, and January.
